Welcome to PPO.eu,
an international non profit association that was
founded with the European Directive 2003/30 on biofuels
as a starting point.

Our objectives are:

1. to unite and coordinate all European activities connected to:
   • the cultivation of oleaginous plants
   • the derived oils to substitute fossil fuels
   • the application of the oil to the transport sector and energy sector.
   Emphasis will be on the biological aspects taking into account the Life Cycle Analysis.(LCA)
2. to promote and exchange know-how and experience not only on a European level, but on a global level as well.
3. to consult, guide and represent existing and new initiatives, directly connected with developments on PPO related matters.
4. to initiate and maintain contacts with governments and policymakers like the European Union and the United Nations, as well as national and international organisations.
5. to publish new developments, events and results related to all the activities mentioned above.
